Day 56

I stayed up until 3 in the morning watching Netflix and knitting. I'm nervous that Netflix finally works in Spain because I know Im a victim of bindge watching hard core. I woke up 5 minutes before the optional mountain hike that FSU was having. The hike consisted of hiking up a mountain to see a castle, Castle of Xàtiva and then walking around the city. The hike was definitely a calf killer but it was well worth the price. This evening my friends found a small festival walking around and I made a great new addition to my room decor.

Day 50: Fall Break Day 9

I'm happy to be back from fall break early. I spent all day cleaning my room and getting situated again. I washed all my clothes and backpacking bag. I got all my food for the week and even started knitting a scarf. Today was extremely productive and it makes me feel on top of the world. That's why it's 4 in the morning as I write this because I'm just really happy to get a lot of stuff done. Tomorrow I plan on studying for my trig midterm on Monday. I'm a bit nervous but not as bad as the Chem midterm that I took before fall break. I literally studied from 2 pm to 4am and then woke up at 7 am of the day of the test to study some more. I do wish however that we had the trig final before fall break. I'm pretty sure I've forgotten everything by now.

Day 49: Fall Break Day 8

My last day in Amsterdam consisted of walking a lot. It rained all day so I was kind of happy to leave that day. The hostel prices would also be doubling because the  electronic music festival was just beginning right before I was leaving. Apparently it's one of the biggest festivals of the year. I feel that I got to see everything that I wanted to see in Amsterdam and got my full experience. Amsterdam is definitely one of my favorite
countries. Final thoughts include great weed, love that everyone rides bikes, really cold and rainy, lots of history, beautiful country side, tulips, SHOPPING, loved red light district ( have to go see red light secrets museum), lots of museums, clogs, and CHEESE! Oh yeah I lived off of McDonald's during this trip. I love the honey mustard wraps and Asian wraps Piri Piri! There are no bathrooms when you travel so there were some close calls the ought this trip.

Day 48: Fall Break Day 7

I left "Bob's hostel" to go do "Mike's bike tours" ( complete coincidence about the names). We did a tour of the country side and saw how the cheese and clogs were made. The farmer that runs the business was very proud that Whoopie Goldberg wore a pair of his shoes. I walked around the Red Light District. I went to the Museum called Red Light Secrets and it was actually my favorite museum. It showed you the day in the life of the girls that work in the district. We actually got to see an actual room that was once used and we could even stand in the window to see how it felt. It was really freaky looking out to have strangers walk by and judge you. Apparently a big electro music festival was about to begin so they set up a mini carnival on its behalf.
