Today we did a 4 mile hike on part of the Camino de Santiago. It's basically a month long hike done by horse, bike, or waking that earns you sainthood if you finish it. I was satisfied with the 4 miles that we did. We had to stay on the lower portion of the trail to avoid the bad wheather at the top. The small town that we walked through was very cute and quaint. We walked by the abandoned train station that was a major route to get in and out of Spain to France and vice versa. After, we went to the San Juan de la Pena Monrstery but it was really boring so i didn't exert any effort to take pictures. My final thoughts about Jaca was that it was really small and everything closed early unlike the rest of Spain so I ate McDonalds pretty much everyday. Two hamburgers and two McFlurrys is my new crack. Im not that sad to be leaving because it was so cold but the town definitely has cool historic castles, country sides, and history to it. The water rafting of course was what I think I will remember most just because it was so beautiful and it actually involved physical effort.
