I'm trying the Valencian way! Everyone here runs so I thought I would give it a shot. Last night my roommates went to the international night at the local club and didn't come home until 2 but I surprisingly got a lot of stuff done. I finished homework, cleaned and tried the Bidet. I was pleasantly surprised. This basically meant I went to bed at 4 and only have 5 hours of sleep since I woke up at 9 to go on a run. My friends Jacqueline and Dara consider running "fun". We ran 4 kilometer or slightly less then 3 miles. I had Spanish class and then Brittnay and I walked around the city. We had subway which was the best meal ever since the quantity and price definitely matched up. This was the first time I had free refills and a combo deal. It was definitely good to eat since on our way back to the dorms we stopped by Miguelete Bell Tower. The bell tower has 207 steps which definitely required extensive energy. The view was breathtaking and definitely worth it. Right next to the tower was the church Basilica of Our Lady of the Forsaken. They were having mass but I sneeked a few photos. My family sent me a cake which was greatly appreciated and devoured. After my cake dinner my friends went to a international exchange where English speakers meet at one of the only American bars in Valencia and speak English and Spanish to improve each others language skills and open native/foreign relationships. There were hardly any native speakers at the event so my group got stuck talking to actual customers of the bar and that were not part of the international program. Our Spanish was pretty bad so the guy spoke mostly English. Oooops. Still learning.

OMG THIS IS SOOOOO COOOL
